Help with a new cell phone

It is that time again for a new cell phone, mine is worn out. I am thinking about an Apple iPhone or maybe a motorola combat phone. Both phones have their own perks. The thing I look for in a phone is usually accessories, chargers, covers, head sets, and colors etc.... I did a search on Apple iPhone accessory, got 1.9 million hits, combat phone accessory 498K, iPhone wins this. I am going to do further research...... The iPhone looks cool and high-tech, while the combat phone is more what I need, sturdy, could not destroy. Question: Wait on iPhone or get a combat phone??? What are thoughts on this....... Personally i would love to get my hands on iphone , however the unavailibilty of third party softwares influenced my decision. I have a swell time using something as easy as zyb( the guys who won red herring award) so whenever i change my phone, i can get my contacts readily available for the new phone.
