Saving Consumers Billions

The drug of ebay.

I been on eBay for many years. It seems as soon as you show someone eBay they become addicted to buying and selling, mostly the buying part.  The bidding and trying to see if you are highest bid, making sure you stay that way by watching you product you want to buy.  It gets to be, I think like a fix to know you beat someone or out bidding somebody else for the product you wanted.  It sounds like you are becoming an addict. Count me in. I have been fortunate not to have to get off the wagon. I was able to just get off.  Now my wife is a different story.

From a study on purchasing products on eBay shows that consumers save billions from online purchases from the auction website.

Buyers save billions of dollars each year bidding on eBay Inc. auctions, according to a new study that quantifies the benefits online consumers enjoy over and above what is derived by sellers, or eBay itself.

The independent research by two statisticians from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business found buyers saved $7 billion that they might have otherwise been ready to pay in a study of eBay auction behavior in 2003.

The projects workout that the 2007 dollars would be about $19 billion dollars.  Well are buy more this year so we can out due the 2007 dollars total. Let get on right away.

:)

Cheers
