Time for an Online MBA degree

Back in the 1980's I did research on taking long distance learning college classes via mail. You know snail mail. From my research I discovered there were many major universities utilizing long distance learning college classes to individuals that were not able to attend regular classes. Back then you had to go to campus for 2 days on a weekend to discuss which programs you wanted to take. Then the rest of classes were taken via mail and via telephone. Kinda strange is it not. Mail. Long distance learning College classes.

For the last several years college over the internet is becoming common place. One of the largest college universities  offering you an  Online Degree has been Regis University.  I know they have had remote college classes for over 25 years. Yes before the net was invented by Mr. Gore. :)  Regis University is the major player in online degrees. They are offering both Online Bachelor and Master Online MBA degrees.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a master's degree in business administration, which attracts people from a wide range of academic disciplines. The MBA designation originated in the United States, emerging from the late 19th century as the country industrialized and companies sought out scientific approaches to management. The MBA degree has since achieved worldwide recognition. Accreditation bodies exist specifically for MBA programs to ensure consistency and quality of graduate business education, and business schools in many countries offer MBA programs tailored to full-time, part-time, executive, and distance learning students, with specialized concentrations.

Several of my friends have taken and graduated from these type of long distance learning class. It became a boost in their pay.  Most tell me with out online degree programs like Regis, they would otherwise not be able to get a college degree.

Cheers
