Microsoft is starting a promotion to use its Windows OS in the ultra low cost laptops.  This will limit hardware capabilities. MS is offer the PC makers huge discounts on Window XP Home to get them use MS OS instead of competitor Linux on the ultra cheap pc.

Is is good, now they can be a good Internet workstation that is cheap for everyone to obtain. This could be good if you are running a internet business and need many workstations, could save a lot of money that buying regular PC's.


Looks like Microsoft is launching a domination program of the low end pcs.
