Open Office for your MAC

The folks a OpenOffice.org is releasing a beta version of it's office software applications, that will run in Apple's OS X native Aqua user interface. The OpenOffice.org web site has the software ready for download. The software includes many new features and improvements to the suite's word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database applications.

OpenOffice.org is one of the few rivals of Microsoft's market-leading suite, Microsoft Office.  The beta of OpenOffice.org 3.0 can be downloaded for free for the Mac, also for Windows, Linux and Solaris.  It would be nice if all the software I use in my computer were set up like this.

Cheers
