Tennis on Grass anyone

Grass is meant for Tennis

Lately the weather has been nice and dry. I try to take the children out to perform different activities from time to time. The latest one we are play is Tennis. I have been playing tennis since I was 12.  The one thing we do not have available in the south is Grass courts. We have Clay and concrete tennis courts but no grass. I know this would make it more challenging.  The want to play on a grass court comes from watching Wimbledon each July. Wimbledon the oldest major tennis championship. The folks a Wimbledon hold their tennis tournament every June/July for two weeks at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London England.  The Wimbledon tennis tournament is the third Grand Slam tennis event that is played each year. The tennis tournament duration can change is rain show up to stop play.

The Wimbledon tennis coverage has be amazing, you can even see the sweat pour off their noise, Best seen when you are view the center court from the Tele. One day it would be fun to take the children on a field trip to Wimbledon and play, I mean watch some matches. You never know, one day, If I drive them into the ground, I mean nurture them in the ways of tennis, I may get some of the nice Wimbledon tennis tickets to sit where the players dads sit during the Gentleman's singles or Mixed Doubles center court finals. :)

Cheers
